  • I would like to know if there is anyone interested in a sustainable living education center for the Tweed area. I have been doing research and have many ideas, but the ‘red tape’for getting grants and funding is intimidating. I need help with the business aspects. The actual building process I can figure out, but getting all the permits and zoning reg’s figured out may be out of my league.
    Some of the ideas I would like to promote are;
    alternative building processes
    alternative energy
    the importance of local food production
    energy efficiency
    water resource management
    efficient and environmentally sound land use
    and the list goes on.
    If anyone has any interest in a project such as this, please contact me. Thank you!
